Welcome to Hisab Business ("the App", "Service"), owned, developed, and operated by Syntex Business Solutions ("Syntex", "we", "us", or "our").
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") carefully before downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Hisab Business mobile application (Package: com.syntex.hisabbusiness) and related online services available via https://business.ehisab.app.
By creating an account, downloading, or using Hisab Business, you ("Merchant", "User", "You") agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install, access, or use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Account Registration
1.1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable laws (including the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh) to use this Service for commercial or business operations.
1.2. Account Accuracy: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during registration (such as your phone number, business name, and address) and to maintain and promptly update this information.
1.3. Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, four digit security PIN, passwords, and device access. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
1.4. Unauthorized Use: You must immediately notify Syntex Business Solutions at support@ehisab.app of any unauthorized use or breach of security regarding your account.
2. Description of Service
Hisab Business is an offline first Point of Sale, digital ledger, and inventory management application designed for retail, wholesale, and service businesses. Core features include:
- POS billing, cash memo generation, and Bluetooth thermal receipt printing.
- Customer and supplier ledger management including credit balance tracking and WhatsApp reminders.
- Inventory, barcode or QR scanning, batch tracking, and low stock alerts.
- Daily cash drawer reconciliation and blind closing calculations.
- Financial reporting, profit and loss analytics, and tax calculation templates such as Mushak 6.3.
- Cloud data synchronization and backup powered by Google Firebase.
3. Merchant Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
3.1. Lawful Commercial Use: You agree to use Hisab Business only for lawful business transactions and in compliance with all relevant local and international laws, including trade licensing, tax regulations, and consumer protection laws.
3.2. Prohibited Activities: You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal trade.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the application.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the integrity or security of our cloud infrastructure and servers.
- Transmit malicious code, viruses, trojans, or harmful software.
- Impersonate any individual, merchant, or entity.
- Use automated scrapers, bots, or extraction scripts without prior written permission.
3.3. Customer Data and Consent: As a merchant, you are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from your end customers before recording their contact numbers or sending them digital receipts and payment reminders via WhatsApp or SMS.
4. Subscriptions, In App Upgrades and Payments
4.1. Free and Paid Tiers: Hisab Business offers free core functionality as well as optional paid subscription plans (such as Pro or Enterprise) unlocking advanced multi device synchronization, extended analytics, and automated cloud features.
4.2. Pricing and Billing: Subscription fees are displayed clearly inside the App. Payments are billed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) or local currency. We reserve the right to modify pricing with advance notice to users.
4.3. Cancellations and Refunds: Unless required by applicable consumer law, subscription payments are non refundable once activated. You may cancel your subscription renewal at any time through the App settings or Google Play Store subscription management.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1. Ownership of the App: All software code, UI designs, graphics, branding, trademarks, logos, audio visual elements, and documentation associated with Hisab Business are the exclusive intellectual property of Syntex Business Solutions and its licensors.
5.2. License to You: Syntex grants you a limited, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on your mobile devices strictly for your internal business management purposes.
5.3. Merchant Data Ownership: You retain full and exclusive ownership of all proprietary business data, sales logs, inventory lists, and customer contact information entered into the App ("Merchant Data"). Syntex claims no ownership over your business records.
6. Data Backup, Offline Use and Cloud Synchronization
6.1. Offline First Functionality: The App operates offline, storing transactions on your physical device. When an internet connection is available, data syncs with our secure Google Firebase cloud servers.
6.2. Merchant Backup Responsibility: While Hisab Business provides automated cloud backup for active accounts, you acknowledge that unforeseen hardware failures, operating system crashes, uninstalled apps without prior cloud sync, or lost devices are beyond our direct control. We strongly recommend periodically performing manual backups or exporting reports (PDF or Excel) to external storage.
6.3. Security Lock and Screenshot Blocking: The App provides optional PIN, Biometric lock, and Screenshot Blocking features. It is the user's responsibility to enable these features to protect sensitive financial records on shared devices.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
7.1. As Is Basis: Hisab Business is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular business purpose, and non infringement.
7.2. Not Professional Tax Advice: Hisab Business is a business management and recording tool. It does not replace certified public accountants, legal tax advisors, or audited financial systems. The merchant is solely responsible for verifying tax calculations and filing statutory returns with revenue authorities.
7.3. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Syntex Business Solutions, its directors, employees, or partners shall NOT be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App.
8. Account Termination and Data Deletion
You may stop using the Service and request full account and data deletion at any time via Settings > Profile > Delete Account, or through our web portal at https://business.ehisab.app/delete-account.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
