1. Information We Collect
We collect information strictly necessary to provide, maintain, and improve our business management, Point of Sale, and ledger services.
A. Personal and Business Information
When you set up and use an account, you may provide:
- User Profile Data: Your name, email address, phone number, and optional profile photo.
- Business Profile Data: Business or shop name, category such as retail, wholesale, pharmacy, electronics, business phone number, physical address, optional trade license number, and business logo.
B. Business Accounting and Operational Data
The core functionality of the App involves securely storing and organizing your commercial records:
- Sales transactions, digital cash memos, and invoice records.
- Customer and supplier ledger accounts including credit dues, contact numbers, and payment history.
- Inventory data such as product titles, barcodes, purchase prices, selling prices, and stock levels.
- Daily operational expense entries, cash drawer closings, and bank or mobile wallet balances.
- Staff records and attendance logs if you choose to utilize the staff management module.
C. Device Permissions and Usage Details
Hisab Business only requests device permissions that are strictly necessary for core app features:

| BIOMETRIC & FINGERPRINT | Optional security feature allowing you to lock app access and secure delete actions with your device fingerprint or PIN. Authentication is handled entirely by Android BiometricPrompt API; biometric data never leaves your device. |

Privacy Guarantee: Hisab Business DOES NOT request, read, or collect your personal SMS messages, Call Logs, Contacts address book, or GPS Location.
D. Technical and Diagnostic Information
To ensure stability, bug free performance, and fast app startup:
- Crash Logs and Diagnostics: We utilize Google Firebase Crashlytics to capture anonymized crash traces, device model, and OS version when an error occurs.
- Aggregated App Analytics: We utilize Google Firebase Analytics to understand feature usage trends such as frequency of invoice generation. This data is aggregated, anonymized, and does not contain personal financial details.
2. Data Storage, Offline First Architecture and Security
A. Offline First Local Storage
Hisab Business is designed with an offline first architecture. Your daily business transactions, sales, and accounts are stored locally in an encrypted Room SQLite database on your device (hisab_business.db). You can operate your business completely without an active internet connection.
B. Cloud Backup and Synchronization
When you log in with your account and an internet connection is available, your data is securely synced to Google Firebase Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage.
- All data transmissions between your device and our servers are encrypted using industry standard TLS 1.3 SSL 256 bit encryption.
- Sensitive authentication tokens and PINs are stored securely using Android Jetpack EncryptedSharedPreferences.
- Firebase infrastructure adheres to international security certifications including ISO 27001 and SOC 1, 2, and 3.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely for:
- Providing, operating, and maintaining the Hisab Business accounting and POS services.
- Generating business analytics, profit loss calculations, and sales reports for your shop.
- Enabling seamless cross device cloud sync and automated data backup.
- Sending important operational reminders such as low stock warnings and end of day closing.
- Diagnosing technical crashes, debugging performance bottlenecks, and improving user experience.
- Providing dedicated merchant customer care and technical support.
4. Data Sharing and Third Party Disclosure
We do NOT sell, rent, trade, monetize, or lease your personal or business financial data to any third party or advertiser.
Your information is only processed by trusted infrastructure service providers strictly necessary to operate the application, including Google Firebase and Google Play Services for cloud authentication, database synchronization, crash analytics, and barcode scanning. 5. User Rights and Data Deletion
You have full control over your data at all times:
A. In App Account and Data Deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data directly from the App:
- Open Hisab Business.
- Go to Settings (সেটিংস) and tap Profile (প্রোফাইল).
- Tap Delete Account (অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন) at the bottom.
- Confirm your decision. All your cloud records, business profiles, and sync associations will be permanently and irreversibly purged from our servers.
B. Web Based Data Deletion Request
In compliance with Google Play Account Deletion Policy, users can also request account and data deletion without opening or reinstalling the app via our dedicated deletion portal at https://business.ehisab.app/delete-account or by sending an email to support@ehisab.app with the subject "Delete My Account". Your data will be completely deleted from our servers within 7 business days.
6. Children's Privacy
Hisab Business is a commercial accounting, POS, and business management tool designed specifically for business owners, merchants, and professionals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal information from children under the age of 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features, operational practices, or legal requirements. Any modifications will be posted on this page with an updated Last Updated date and made accessible within the App under Settings.
